MTTC College has successfully reached its minimum funding target of RM526,500 for its equity crowdfunding campaign on pitchIN, marking a significant step toward expanding access to high-quality, job-ready skills in Malaysia’s design and technology sectors.

MTTC aims to raise a maximum of RM3.38 million to support an ambitious expansion plan, including broadening its course offerings, enhancing its digital and physical learning environments and increasing enrolment.

MTTC College Principal Ts Charlenne Ong said the funds raised will enable the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution to upgrade campus facilities to deliver a dynamic and engaging learning experience, as well as increasing the quota to fill up to 500 students for its new branch campus in Iskandar Puteri, Johor.

The strategic location and the trend set in the rapid development of Iskandar Puteri Zone help the institution to attract not only Johorian students but also Singaporeans.

The college is the only one in Malaysia to offer an exclusive two-year Advanced Diploma in Digital Construction Technology (BIM) programme, which fits into the hunger demand of BIM modellers in Johor Bahru, Klang Valley and Singapore.

Each year, companies are ready to offer thousands of BIM modellers jobs across these regions.

As demand for skilled professionals in creative design and technology continues to rise, MTTC is committed to empowering students with hands-on, industry-relevant training to prepare them for successful careers.

“We believe that TVET education, especially in areas like design and technology, plays a crucial role in building the future workforce.

“With this equity crowdfunding campaign, we invite investors to join us in this vision, helping us equip more students with practical skills while participating in our growth and impact journey,” said MTTC College Principal Ts Charlenne Ong.

Ong said by leveraging pitchIN’s crowdfunding platform, MTTC aims to foster a network of stakeholders who share its commitment to shaping Malaysia’s design and technology landscape.

The principal believes in changing the TVET Education perspective, as it goes with the slogan “TVET is a choice, not the last choice”.
